I had the privilege of taking Chris and Rachel's anniversary photos again this year! They are such a great couple and I am so thankful that I have gotten to know them over the past year. I love the idea of doing an annual family photo, which will soon have a little one it it ;)!

Michael & Samantha | Charlotte Baby Announcement

As you all may know, I absolutely love photographing my sister and brother-in-law (even when they're not prepared for it haha right Michael?). But this little shoot had been planned for a while. Here's the big news...my sister is pregnant! I am so beyond excited and happy for them and can't wait until the little one gets here to meet their Auntie Jo ;) Well anyways, Sam had this awesome idea to announce their pregnancy with a fall flair. Here they are, Sam and Michael, expecting their own "little pumpkin" in March 2015!

Paulynna | Yorktown Portraits

I had the best time this weekend when my lovely friend Paulynna came to visit. She has been gracious enough to let me photograph her many times through the years and I always get so excited because I think every shot is a winner simply because she is stunning! She is also a majorly talented photographer (she shot my photo on my "about" page) & a wonderful and true friend. So thankful she is in my life and will always be! Love you Pau xoxo

Josh + Miranda = Easton | Hampton Newborn Photos

First of all, I just want to say thank you to both Josh and Miranda for letting me spend the afternoon with their sweet baby boy! I had such a great time getting to know you all a little better and shooting little Easton. He is this sweet family's first baby and his parents went to the same university as me (small world)! There aren't words to describe how babies command attention from a room and how awesome it is to be a part of and watch this exciting time in life!

As I said in my previous post, my sister has been a big part of my photography thus far. I did her engagement photos, bridal portraits, and any other time I make her pose for a photo haha.
